A Gray woman who was struck by a car at around 8:40 p.m. Saturday in New Gloucester later died as a result of her injuries, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred in the area of 1100 Lewiston Road.
Stacy Strattard, 64, was crossing the road when she was hit by a 2016 Ford Fusion operated by Mukendi Mbiya, 49, of Lewiston, police said.
Driver impairment was not a factor in the crash.
The crash is being investigated by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and the Gorham Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit.
