Laura-Leigh made a brief appearance on Vanderpump Rules before putting her Bravo days behind her in the pursuit of a lucrative acting career.
After appearing in a 2008 episode of Gossip Girl, Laura-Leigh became known as the waitress who hooked up in the SUR bathroom with Jax Taylor during VPR season 1. He called it “the best sex,” may we never forget.
In one of the most iconic scenes from the reality show, Laura-Leigh later quit her job at SUR, telling boss Lisa Vanderpump that she booked a role in “a huge movie.” Spoiler alert, the movie was 2013’s We’re the Millers — the Bravo alum appeared as a character named Kymberly.
“A huge movie with Jennifer Aniston,” Laura-Leigh told Vanderpump on the show. “I’m playing opposite of her, and I fly out tonight at 10 p.m. and go shoot in North Carolina.”
Laura-Leigh was never seen on VPR again.

As for where she stands with the show’s cast? Katie Maloney revealed in 2023 that she “reached out” to Laura-Leigh but never received a response.
“She left me on [read],” Katie said during a 2023 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
Similarly, Scheana Shay said that she and Laura-Leigh didn’t keep in touch during a 2024 interview with The Daily Dish but noted there were “no hard feelings.”
Following her Bravo days, Laura-Leigh continued to nab various acting roles, including 2015’s Tooken and 2018’s Under the Silver Lake. She also secured a series regular role as Nikki Shannon in season 2 of The Client List. Her most recent acting project was as Ruby in a 2019 episode of Blue Bloods.
‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast: Then and Now
Laura-Leigh has also been focused on the other side of Hollywood, creating the upcoming animated series Jurasses. She also appeared on a January 2025 episode of the “Vanderpump Rules Party” podcast and spoke candidly about her time on the show.
“We were all working at SUR. I was a new hire. All of that was true,” Laura-Leigh said at the time. “I was not going to do the show because my agency said they would drop me if I did a reality show.”
She needed the money, though, which is why she agreed to appear on VPR.
“I couldn’t pay my rent. I’m a single woman doing it all on my own. I had my own apartment and my own car. No parental help, financially. Working endless jobs and auditioning and testing. Completely depleted,” Laura-Leigh said. “So I signed it so I could get $500 to pay the rest of my rent for that month. And that’s what I made off of the show.”
