A man died Thursday after a driver who swerved to avoid another vehicle hit him in a Naples driveway.
Zackerie Brown, 29, of West Baldwin was driving a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Roosevelt Trail about 4:11 p.m. when he swerved to avoid another vehicle, according to Lt. Joseph Dyar of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Brown left the road and hit a 2013 Ford van parked in a driveway and 56-year-old Scott Martin of Naples, Dyar said Thursday night.
Martin suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation, and Dyar said the sheriff’s office isn’t releasing any more information right now.
