Ciara is embracing the way her body changed after welcoming children into the world.
Posting via Instagram on Thursday, August 7, Ciara, 39, showed off her stretch marks that she obtained after giving birth to her four kids. (Ciara shares Future Zahir, 11, with ex Future and Sienna, 8, Win, 5, and Amora, 19 months with husband Russell Wilson.)
“This moment is about dropping your skinhibitions,” Ciara shared in the sponsored post. “You all know I am a mom of my precious four babies, and they have blessed me with these stretch marks, and I’m like, why am I gonna cover up what I can show off?”
In the clip, the music star lifted up her shirt to display her stretch marks and sang about not stressing about body insecurities.

“I put my left arm in, I let my worries out. I put my whole self in and I shake it all about. I drop my skinhibitions and I dance it all around, that’s what it’s all about,” Ciara sang to the tune of “The Hokey Pokey.”
She added, “And you know I’m gonna put that CC sauce on it. I can’t wait. Love y’all. Thanks.”
The “1,2 Step” singer was flooded with support in the comments section where her legions of followers praised her body positivity.
“Stretch marks are gorgeous and sacred 
no matter the reason why you have them is a part of your body and a reminder that our body is so powerful that transforms for you or you and your baby 
” wrote one follower.
Meanwhile, another praised, “Geez!!!why does her stretch marks even look good!”
Yet another follower encouraged all mothers to embrace stretch marks and other body changes that occur when becoming a parent.
“No mom should be ashamed of stretch marks they are a part of motherhood,” the follower wrote. “We all need to embrace it and just love the skin that was naturally given to us.

The Grammy winner has never shied away from keeping it real when it comes to all aspects of motherhood.
In 2018 she confessed to Forbes that it was often tricky to balance parenting with her ambitions.
“There are many challenges of motherhood! But balance is probably the greatest challenge because I’m very ambitious and determined to achieve my goals, and that takes a lot of work in itself,” she told the outlet.
She added, “And then the job of being a mom is a whole different animal, too. I love being there with my kids, I don’t want to miss out on anything, and so I’m constantly thinking, how do I balance it all out? Because both things require full attention and effort.”
