The Bachelor in Paradise season 10 contestants are putting their chemistry to the test.
In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek of the Monday, August 4, episode of the series, host Jesse Palmer introduces the latest compatibility test a “high-low challenge.”
“Earlier, you were all asked questions off camera that can be answered by a simple number,” Jesse explains. “Let’s find out which couples are ready to put their money where their mouth is.”
Jesse proceeds to ask Golden contestant Keith whether Kathy has had “higher or lower than five” cosmetic surgeries in her lifetime. When Keith places a chip on a circle that reads “lower,” Jesse exclaims that he answered correctly. Both Keith and Kathy celebrate as they place their arm above their head and lean in for a hug.

Next, Jesse asks Parisa whether the “percentage of breakups that Brian thinks were his fault” was “higher or lower than 30 percent.” After Parisa places a chip on a circle that reads “higher,” Jesse notes that she guessed incorrectly. Parisa appears shocked as Brian smiles behind her and mimics an incorrect buzzer sound in a confessional.
As the game begins to escalate, Jesse asks Jeremy whether he thinks Bailey has ever spent more than $350 on a gift for her partner. The camera shows Jeremy, who is focused on a stack of chips as he contemplates the correct answer.
“I really want to bet it all, but I’m so not confident,” Jeremy says, before ultimately grabbing the whole stack. Andrew appears shocked at the bold move, as Jeremy explains in a confessional, “This is extremely stressful, even for someone like me.”
As someone appears to question Jeremy’s move — exclaiming “really?” in the background, Kat’s jaw drops and Bailey places her hands over her mouth.

“You bet your entire stack of chips on this final question,” Jesse says. “And you know what’s at stake?”
The clip comes to an end before Jesse can share whether Jeremy answered the question correctly, meaning his relationship with Bailey has passed the latest chemistry test.
The idea of games — and a $500,000 prize for contestants — was introduced during the premiere episode of Bachelor in Paradise, which aired last month.
“[There’s] a lot of compatibility testing and challenges, which is a lot of fun,” Jesse exclusively told Us at the time. “I got to wear a game show host hat from time to time, which was really cool and unique. It keeps our cast on their toes. They never know what’s around the corner.”
Jesse shared that the new element “raises the stakes in a way that we’ve never seen” on Bachelor in Paradise.
“And I think getting everybody in a group setting more often was really interesting. It helped people learn more about each other from a connection standpoint, and the group got to learn more about each other as well,” he said. “So there’s more twists and turns coming too.”
