If you loved season 1 of Wednesday, the spinoff of The Addams Family starring Jenna Ortega as the dour daughter of Gomez and Morticia, then you’re probably eagerly anticipating the show’s return to Netflix.

But when will Wednesday season 2 finally be released?

Watch With Us has all the details about when Wednesday, now with her brother Pugsley in tow, will return to Nevermore Academy for more misadventures.

Find out everything you need to know about Wednesday season 2 below.

When Does ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Premiere?

Netflix will be releasing season 2 of Wednesday in two parts. The first four episodes of season 2 will drop at 12:01 a.m. on August 6. Fans will then have to wait almost a month for the final four episodes, which will be released on September 3. The season will have eight episodes in total.

What Will ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Be About?

In season 1, Wednesday saved her new school, Nevermore Academy, from a villainous plot. She also ended up becoming reluctant best friends with her peppy werewolf roommate Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers) and gained a new understanding with her mother, Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones).

According to Netflix’s Tudum website, the larger Addams Family will be taking on an expanded role at Nevermore in season 2, with Morticia accepting a philanthropic role at the school and Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez) becoming a student. But things at Nevermore will be changing after the murder of its former principal (Gwendoline Christie) and the arrival of a new principal who seeks to entirely separate the school’s population of supernaturally powered “Outcasts” from the local “Normies.”

Additionally, the trailer for season 2 shows that Wednesday will experience a psychic vision predicting Enid’s death — and will seek a way to stop it.
