Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis have broken their silence following And Just Like That ending after three seasons.
“I can’t believe our wild beautiful And Just Like That ride is almost over. It has been such a delight from start to finish,” Nixon, 59, wrote via Instagram on Friday, August 1, alongside a photo of her, Davis, 60, and Sarah Jessica Parker. “I will miss working with these people everyday SO incredibly much but know we will always be a part of each other’s lives.”
Nixon teased she would be sharing a lot more photos on her social media as the Sex and the City revival comes to an end later this month.
“Get ready for a lot more carousels in the weeks to come! And don’t miss these last few episodes: surprises in store! 
,” she concluded.

Davis, for her part, also took to social media to share her thoughts on the show coming to an end.
“I am profoundly sad,” the actress wrote via her Instagram Story alongside HBO Max’s official statement announcing that And Just Like That was ending. “I love our whole beautiful cast and crew. 400 artisans working hard on our show with deep love.”
Davis also expressed her gratitude to the fans who have been by their side.
“And to our loyal fans, we love you forever and ever,” she continued.
Davis also reshared Nixon’s post expressing her “love” for both Nixon and Parker.
Nixon, Davis and Parker, 60, starred on Sex and the City alongside Kim Cattrall from 1998 to 2004. The series followed Carrie Bradshaw (Parker) and her dating life as she navigated New York City alongside her friends Charlotte (Davis), Miranda Hobbes (Nixon) and Samantha (Cattrall). Following the success of the series, two Sex and the City movies were released before HBO Max revived the show in December 2021. (Cattrall did not return for And Just Like That besides one brief cameo.)
And Just Like That showrunner Michael Patrick King confirmed on Friday that the series will not be returning after season 3’s two-part finale.

“And just like that … the ongoing storytelling of the Sex And The City universe is coming to an end. While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That season three, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop,” read the statement. “Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys and Sarah Aubrey, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from 10 episodes to 12.”
Following the news, Parker posted a tribute to the character she has portrayed for nearly three decades.
“Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte, there will never be better friends and what great fortune for Carrie to come to know and love Seema and LTW, most divine new connections. Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all,” she wrote via Instagram. “I know others have loved her just as I have. Been frustrated, condemned and rooted for her. The symphony of all those emotions has been the greatest soundtrack and most consequential companion. Therefore the most sentimental and profound gratitude and lifetime of debt. To you all.”
