Denise Richards filed an emotional declaration as part of her plea for a restraining order, where she detailed the days leading up to her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, filing for divorce, Us Weekly can report.

In her filing, Richards, 54, said she moved out of their marital home in late 2023 and into her own townhome due to issues with Phypers, 52. Despite “repeatedly” telling Phypers that he is not allowed at her home, Richards claims on July 4 — the date that Phypers cited as their date of separation in divorce docs — Phypers showed up.

She claimed he became enraged when she told him his family had to move out the marital home. The actress said over the next two hours, Phypers “repeatedly got within two inches of my face and screamed at me degrading profanities, including calling me a “c**t whore” and a ‘piece of s**t’ and screaming at me, ‘nobody likes you.’”

She alleged, “Aaron repeatedly grabbed my left arm tightly in an aggressive manner. I told Aaron repeatedly that he needed to stay away from me and that he was going to hurt me.”

Richards claimed she “pleaded with Aaron repeatedly to please leave” for two hours. The declaration continued, “Aaron would, then, unprovoked, resume screaming at me and get within inches of my face. I was recovering from a sensitive surgery. Aaron’s actions were scaring me to the point that, as with nearly all of Aaron’s abuse of me, I was afraid that Aaron may kill me. I am 5’4” and Aaron is 6’2” and weighs more than 200 pounds.”

Richards said she repeatedly threatened to call the police. “They will never be able to do anything to me and I will kill everyone if they try,” he allegedly replied.

She said she left to go to her office at 2 a.m.. According to Richards, Phypers stormed in several hours later and demanded she give him her phone. “I immediately told him to leave, as I had repeatedly told him he was not allowed in [my townhome]. Aaron aggressively marched towards me, squeezed my arm extremely tight and aggressively and demanded for me to give him his phone. I grabbed my phone and told him I was calling 911,” Richards wrote.

Richards alleged Phypers left when she was about to hit the call button to 911. She said he left while telling her, “You are going to disappear.”

A couple of hours later, at noon, she claimed Phypers showed up again screaming profanities at her.

At around 5 p.m., she encountered Phypers in her garage. “I immediately became fearful of Aaron because I had told him multiple times that he was not allowed in [her townhome].”

She claimed he yelled at her and demanded her phone. “I ran up the stairs to get away from Aaron. Aaron chased me and grabbed both of my arms forcefully and pushed me and dragged me to the ground,” Richards claimed. “I landed hard on the stairs causing me immense pain.”

Richards said Phypers threatened to hack into her cell phone and iCloud and release all the information to the internet. She claimed his father began yelling at her and telling her that he was going to tell the media that she was a “whore” and he would disclose “everything on” her phone.

“When I told Aaron I did not have the phone, he left and ran across the alley to the office townhouse and took my laptop, my purse with my drivers license and my suitcase with my passport. He then ran down the alley to his car and left,” she alleged. She said she tried to catch him but was unsuccessful.

“I went to my daughter’s house for safety because I could not go to a hotel because Aaron had my purse that had my identification, credit cards and all forms of payment,” she said.

Phypers filed for divorce on July 7. He listed the date of separation as July 4.

In her petition, Richards alleged on July 14, Phypers texted her screenshots of texts that he had taken with his iPhone off her laptop. Richards pleaded with the court to order Phypers to stay 100 yards away from her and her home. Phypers has yet to respond.
