Katie Gaudreau, the younger sister of late hockey stars Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, gave a glimpse into her emotional wedding day.
The new bride shared a series of photos from the ceremony and reception via Instagram on Tuesday, July 15.
Katie married her husband, Devin Joyce, in Philadelphia on Friday, July 11.
“Still dreaming about our magical day,” Katie wrote.
Katie Gaudreau, Sister of Johnny and Matthew, Shares Engagement Photos
The post included pictures of Katie and Devin leaving the Cescaphe Ballroom after saying their vows and partying inside The Bellevue Philadelphia, where Katie was seen getting lifted up into the air by a group of revelers.
Katie also included a photo of her wedding party, which included bridesmaids Meredith Gaudreau, Johnny’s wife, and Madeline Gaudreau, Matthew’s wife.
Johnny and Matthew were killed by an alleged drunk driver while riding their bicycles in August 2024, the night before Katie and Devin were originally scheduled to get married. Johnny was 31 years old, and Matthew was 29.
“To know these two was to love these two,” Katie wrote via Instagram after her brothers’ deaths, sharing a picture from Johnny and Meredith’s September 2021 wedding. “There are absolutely no words I have to express the bond my family shared. The entire world knows there would never have been a John without Matty or Matty without John. The absolute best big brothers a little girl could have asked for.”
She continued, “This will never be a goodbye post because I will never stop saying your names and honoring you both.”
Johnny and Matthew were both well represented on Katie’s wedding day.
In May, Katie showed off a new tattoo of two doves on her ankle.
“Forever us four,” she wrote.

In September 2024, Katie revealed she had the initials “J+M” etched into her wedding band. “Forever with me now,” she shared via Instagram.
Katie and Devin celebrated their ninth anniversary of dating in March, which Katie used as a way to thank her then-fiancé for being a pillar of support throughout a tragic year for her family.
“I couldn’t be more grateful to have you by my side,” she wrote via Instagram. “This past year has tested us in ways we never could have imagined, but our love has always come out stronger. You’ve shown up in ways that mean more than I can put into words, and I know I wouldn’t have gotten through it without you.”
Katie continued, “Since high school I’ve been waiting for the day I get to call you my husband….even though I call you my husband now I can’t wait for July 11th to officially be your wife. No matter what life throws our way, I’ll always be up for singing off-key and dancing terribly with you — whether it’s in a bar or our little kitchen — forever and more.”
