Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been undergoing therapy while in prison.

Diddy, 55, has enrolled in self-improvement programs to address his past drug use and violence against women, according to TMZ. The outlet reported that Diddy, who is being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, is participating in the STOP Program, which helps inmates learn to prevent sexual assault and dating violence.

The disgraced music mogul, per the outlet, is also participating in a drug abuse therapy program to better himself. Us Weekly has reached out for comment.

Diddy has been held at MDC since September 2024 when he was arrested on charges of sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution and racketeering conspiracy. The rapper pleaded not guilty to the charges and denied all of the accusations.

Diddy Is Getting ‘Treatment and Therapy’ Amid Indictment, Says Attorney

“Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo told Us Weekly in a statement at the time. “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal.”

After a two-month trial earlier this year, Diddy was acquitted on the sex trafficking and racketeering charges but found guilty on the two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. Each count carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.

“I want to thank my client Sean Combs for trusting us. Myself and everybody here, this incredible dream team that he put together,” lawyer Teny Geragos said during a press conference held earlier this month. “Without him, we would not be able to do this. He is incredible, and I want to thank him.”

Geragos added, “Despite the terrible conditions at the MDC, I want to thank the good people who work there who ensured that we had a sufficient amount of time to prepare for trial. It is extremely difficult to prepare for a federal case in the conditions at the MDC, and they did everything they could to make that happen.”

Agnifilo, for his part, called the verdict a “great victory” for both Diddy and the justice system as a whole.

“Today’s a great victory,” Agnifilo said after the trial concluded. “It’s a great victory for Sean Combs, it’s a great victory for the jury system. We are not nearly done fighting. We are just getting started.”

After the jury rendered its verdict, Diddy was denied bail until his sentencing on October 3.
