Thank you for having the courage and integrity to write the editorial entitled “Cruelty is becoming a defining quality of America.” You have my gratitude and admiration.
I think everything stated in the editorial is profoundly sad and true. I believe any decent person should be heartsick about the suffering that countless good and innocent people are suffering due to the lawless and cruel abductions taking place in our country.
I used to get my news on PBS’s Newshour but I stopped watching it after the election because I did not feel that the program was measuring up to today’s situation, plus I could not bear watching and listening to Donald Trump. I opted to get the information I needed to stay in touch by buying the BDN most days of the week and I have not been disappointed.
Your editorials have been honest and straightforward. You are reporting what the American people need to hear.
Again, thank you; we need more news organizations like the BDN.
