
A man has been arrested in a Scarborough hit-and-run that left a bicyclist dead.
Saran Sun, 68, has been charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident resulting in injury or death, according to the Scarborough Police Department.
Sun allegedly hit bicyclist Howard Gribbin, 50, on Southgate Road near Route 1 about 4:15 a.m. Friday, Scarborough police said Wednesday.
Gribbin was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Sun was identified as a suspect this week, and police located him about 4:21 a.m. Wednesday and placed him under arrest.
The investigation is ongoing.
