Todd Chrisley is revealing his plans for the future after he and wife Julie Chrisley were released from prison in May.
The former Chrisley Knows Best star, 56, shared during an ABC News special that aired via Hulu on Sunday, June 29, that he and Julie, 52, hope to relocate from Nashville back to their native South Carolina.
“You know, I think we will always have a presence in Nashville, but I have a pull for Julie and I to go back to South Carolina — to Charleston — to that area,” Todd said, per People.
“And we have plans for what we wanna do,” he added, teasing his next career move following his presidential pardon and prison release.

Todd said, “We have hopes of acquiring a hotel — a mansion — there, that we are gonna convert into a hotel, and we’re gonna create a show around that.”
Todd and Julie will be back in the spotlight in a new Lifetime reality show focusing on the Chrisley family. During a May 30 press conference, Todd said that he and Julie began filming for the series “literally the night that [Julie and I] got home.”
The reality television couple were convicted on charges including tax evasion and bank and wire fraud in June 2022, though they have maintained their innocence. Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Julie was given a seven-year sentence. The couple were released after receiving pardons from President Donald Trump late last month.
“We owe thanks to God … and God touched President Trump’s heart,” Todd praised Trump during a Saturday, June 29, interview on Fox News’ My View With Lara Trump. “God led the people to advocate for us. And so I’m grateful because every night I would pray that God would return me home to my wife and my children. And he did that, so I’m grateful.”

Todd confirmed that he and his family had the opportunity to personally thank Trump in a video call via FaceTime following his release from prison.
“[I told him,] ‘Thank you, you reunited me with my family,’” Todd said.
In the same interview, the couple’s daughter Savannah Chrisley, 27, who advocated for their release, said that Trump’s re-election last November was her best chance to get her parents out of prison after they hit an “all-time low.”
“On a personal level, we watched the election together, and [my brother Grayson, 19] got to vote in the election for the first time,” Savannah said. “And when we were watching it and saw the president win, we both started sobbing and he just grabbed me and hugged me because we knew that was our only way out.”
