In May 2023, the Amazon founder popped the question to Sánchez while the pair were vacationing in Europe. “When he opened the box, I think I blacked out a bit,” she told Vogue in November 2023 while recalling the proposal.
As the couple geared up for wedding planning, Bezos weighed in on whether he would be involved in the process. “Oh, God, no. Do I look that dumb?” he quipped to Vogue.

Nearly two years after Bezos and Sánchez’s engagement, Page Six reported in March 2025 that the pair sent out their wedding invitations. The couple tied the knot on June, 27, 2025.
