In the streaming era, death and taxes aren’t the only constants. Every month like clockwork, Netflix is losing some of its best movies.

The key to getting the most out of your Netflix subscription is by keeping an eye on the movies coming to and leaving Netflix in any particular month.

Now it’s time for the Watch With Us team to share our picks for the three great movies leaving Netflix at the end of June.

Our choices include a horror film, a heist comedy and a wild legal thriller.

Everything Leaving Netflix in June 2025

‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ (1997)

Sometimes streamers are the beneficiaries of good timing, like the way Prime Video added Conclave right when interest peaked in the search for a new pope. Netflix isn’t quite as lucky, because it’s losing I Know What You Did Last Summer a few weeks ahead of the modern sequel that’s going to open in theaters next month.

The original film may not be able to claim to be the decade’s definitive slasher flick, but it doesn’t get more ’90s than a cast that includes Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Ryan Phillippe. They play four friends who accidentally hit someone with their car before covering up their crime. One year later, an enigmatic killer taunts them with knowledge about what they did before targeting them one by one to get his revenge.

‘Ocean’s Eleven’ (2001)

It’s hard to imagine a more breezy crime comedy/heist film than Steven Soderbergh‘s remake of Ocean’s Eleven. George Clooney leads an all-star cast as Danny Ocean, a recently released con artist who wants to pull off the ultimate heist: Robbing three casinos at once.

5 Must-Watch Netflix Movies to Stream in the Summer

That’s more than a one-person job, and Danny needs his friend, Robert “Rusty” Ryan (Brad Pitt), as well as eight other guys as played by Don Cheadle, Casey Affleck, Bernie Mac, Matt Damon, Carl Reiner and more. Danny may have also left out some important details, like the fact that his ex-wife, Tess Ocean (Julia Roberts), is dating the owner of the three casinos, Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia). But if you can’t plan an elaborate robbery without making some time to get some revenge, is it really worth doing at all?

‘Runaway Jury’ (2003)

Runaway Jury was the penultimate film in the long career of the late Gene Hackman. For our money, it’s also the last decent movie he was in. Hackman plays Rankin Fitch, a fixer who is particularly good at loading up juries with people sympathetic towards his corporate clients.

This time, however, Fitch has been outmaneuvered by Nick Easter (John Cusack), one of the men selected for the jury. Nick and his girlfriend, Marlee (Rachel Weisz), plan to use his position to sway the jury towards either side. And they want a very large bribe to give Fitch his desired outcome. But Fitch didn’t get this far by folding easily. While Fitch and his men can’t strike directly at Nick while he’s sequestered with the jury, Marlee has no protection from Fitch’s reprisal.

Runaway Jury is streaming on Netflix.
