Charlotte’s marriage to Harry is faced with an unexpected challenge on And Just Like That season 3.
During the Thursday, June 26, episode of the Max series, Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and her husband (Evan Handler) take a walk on the Upper East Side with their dog after dinner. While Charlotte is glad to have a moment alone away from their kids, Harry uses the moment of reprieve to reveal a shocking health update.
“Do you remember when I wet myself at the club? And then, you know, there was the trouble in the bedroom,” he began, referring to moments loyal AJLT fans saw earlier this season. “Well, I decided to check it out just in case, and what do you know? I’ve got prostate cancer.”
Harry assured his wife that “everything is gonna be fine” because the illness was diagnosed early. “Prostate cancer has a 98 percent survival rate,” he told Charlotte. “Lots of men get it. Robert DeNiro, Warren Buffett, Nelson Mandela.”

Charlotte begins to spiral, but Harry tries to slow her down. “Listen to me, I promise you I am not gonna die for a very long time, OK?” he says. “I just want you to do me one favor — don’t tell anyone. Not the kids, not our friends. I don’t wanna be the cancer guy.”
When Charlotte offers to quit her new job at the art gallery to take care of Harry, he insists that she keep working “because then I’ll be back to 100 percent and you’ll be 100 percent out of a job.” He also refutes her suggestion to cancel the glamping trip they planned with Lisa Todd Wexley (Nicole Ari Parker) and her family.
During the big staycation, Charlotte tries her hardest to hold it all together for Harry — without spilling the beans about his diagnosis. When their two kids, Lily (Cathy Ang) and Rock (Alexa Swinton), start to complain about the excess of family time, Charlotte gets upset but can’t explain why. She eventually heads to the spa with LTW, where she gets visibly emotional.
“Is everything OK? You seem a little distant,” LTW asks Charlotte, who says there’s “a lot” on her mind. She declines to share more, but LTW shows her support by placing a hand on her shoulder. (The scene was filmed at New York City’s luxurious QC NY Spa on Governors Island.)

LTW dealt with some marital trouble of her own during Thursday’s episode, as she dove deeper into her documentary project with a new editor, Marion (Mehcad Brooks). Her husband (Chris Jackson) finds a cozy selfie of the colleagues, prompting LTW to ask Charlotte whether it’s kosher to have a work crush.
Parker, 54, previously gave Us Weekly an exclusive preview of what was to come for the Wexleys on season 3, joking that she “signed so many documents” in order to stay spoiler-free. While she couldn’t share much, she did praise the “great writing team” for their creativity.
“They really established the Wexleys [as a couple] … and they put a little danger in there,” she teased in her May cover story.
And Just Like That airs on Max Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
