BELFAST — Students from Waldo County Technical Center’s graphic design program designed and painted ocean themed murals at Belfast’s skate park this June as part of an ongoing study in mural creation through WCTC’s Extended Learning Opportunities program.
Students worked with their instructor Hillary Steinau and the city’s Parks and Recreation department to beautify the skate park with their artwork. A generous donation from Hammond lumber covered about 50 percent of the supply costs for this project.
