Travis and Jason Kelce can’t wait to see mom Donna Kelce take over the Traitors castle, just like Us.
Shortly after news broke that Donna, 72, was cast on season 4 of the Peacock reality competition series, Jason, 37, and Travis, 35, weighed in on their mom’s odds while speaking at the 2025 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France on Monday, June 16.
“Mom just got announced as being on this season of Traitors,” Jason said, adding that he’s “very looking forward to seeing how she does.”
Travis agreed that he’s “anxious to see” how the season plays out, with Jason joking that he feels “cautiously pessimistic.”

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end went on to tease, “We’ve seen the evil side of Donna. You guys haven’t,” before quickly assuring the audience that he was only kidding. “There is no evil side. She’s the sweetest,” he said.
Peacock officially revealed the cast on Friday, June 13. Along with Donna, the fourth season will feature Housewives Lisa Rinna, Dorinda Medley (whose turn on season 3 was short-lived), Porsha Williams, Candiace Dillard-Bassett and Caroline Stanbury, Dancing With the Stars pro Mark Ballas and former Bachelor Colton Underwood. A handful of Big Brother and Survivor alums — including Natalie Anderson and Ian Terry — will also be featured, as well as former competitive figure skaters Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir, among other stars.
Longtime listeners of Travis and Jason’s “New Heights” podcast know the brothers have established themselves as big fans of The Traitors. In September 2024, Jason revealed that he had recently watched some episodes with Donna.
“Dude, you would f***ing crush it on Traitors,” Travis told his older sibling, who wasn’t as confident, referring to himself as an “awful liar.”
Travis proceeded to pitch himself for the series, adding, “I just want to play the game, like, it’s a show that I think I would have fun with.”
The brothers even made a loose plan to play the Mafia-inspired game of deception while spending Thanksgiving together that November. Travis told Jason at the time that he would only be “in” if the Chiefs pulled out a win in their game against the Las Vegas Raiders. (The Chiefs won 19-17, so it’s possible Donna got some practice before heading to Scotland.)

As rumors swirled about who might be wearing the Traitors robes this season, the podcast’s social media accounts played into the speculation. “Reposting this for no reason whatsoever,” read the caption shared alongside a clip from the September 2024 episode.
Donna’s sons aren’t the only ones who have high hopes for how she’ll perform in the competition. Dylan Efron, who was one of the four Traitors season 3 winners, shared his excitement for Donna’s casting in a recent TikTok.
“People are going to want her in the castle,” he said on Friday, saying Donna’s “maternal” instincts could give her an edge. “And also, who’s going to vote her out and ruin that chance to meet [Travis’ girlfriend], Taylor Swift? Let’s be honest, win the show or go watch a Chiefs game in the box?”
