Police identified the two men found dead at a home in Chelsea on Wednesday as 43-year-old Christopher Hunnewell and 22-year-old Ty Carter, both of Chelsea.
Police are withholding their cause and manner of death at this time, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said.
A male youth who was at the 616 Windsor Road residence when police arrived on Wednesday was taken into custody in connection with the deaths, which were ruled homicides.
The youth was brought to Long Creek Youth Development Center, Maine’s youth prison, and charged with murder, Moss said.
The investigation remains ongoing, and further information was not immediately available Friday afternoon.
