Love Is Blind season 5 alum Lydia Velez Gonzalez believes that her estranged husband, Milton Johnson, wasn’t always honest about certain things in their marriage.
“Along the period [that we’ve been] married, I have received, on five different occasions, messages from women allegedly saying that he’s pursuing them at bars, paying for a woman’s drinks, heavily flirting,” Lydia, 33, claimed on the Wednesday, June 11, episode of the “What’s the Reality?” podcast. “I went to a wedding and one of the girls that I used to be friends with has pictures of him in California with another woman.”
The Netflix star continued, “What was, like, the cherry on top was he had a university event last year and he told me that no spouses were allowed [and] I couldn’t be in the hotel with him.”
According to Lydia, Milton, 26, went to the same university event in March of this year and would be “going out every day” after the school-sanctioned events.

“I received a very detailed, long email from this woman alleging that he had been flirting with her all night, that he invited her over to the hotel, and she sent me evidence,” Lydia claimed. “He called her at 4:12 in the morning and [she sent me] text exchanges and FaceTimes — at 4 in the morning. That was it for me. I was like, ‘I cannot continue.’”
Lydia separated from Milton later that month, claiming that he would only initially sign divorce papers if she agreed to a non-disclosure agreement first. Milton has not addressed any of Lydia’s allegations. Us Weekly has reached out for comment.
The geologist, for her part, further alleged that “it wasn’t the first time” she heard similar things about her then-spouse.
“A month prior, I had received another message from another girl with the same allegations,” she said. “I’m, like, ‘First of all: you’re a public figure. What are you doing this? Do you have any respect for yourself?’ That one, I confronted him, and he flipped it to me, ‘Why would you even entertain that?’”

After Milton initially denied the woman’s claims, he and Lydia got into a “huge conversation” about it.
“He was just saying all the things that bothered him about me [like] the swimsuits,” she said, claiming that Milton didn’t want her to wear pieces that showed off her curves in public. “I’m, like, ‘You got to be kidding, dude. We just went to Mexico and I was wearing a diaper of a swimsuit. What else do you want?’”
Milton also allegedly told Lydia that she makes “poor decisions.”
“Exchanging numbers was nothing [and] it was, like, he can do that,” she quipped. “I’m, like, ‘You have a wife.’ You want to talk to somebody, talk to your wife. The nagging [he claimed] was me telling him, ‘Hey, we haven’t spent time together. You either play Halo, work or [go to graduate] school. There’s no time for me. I never felt that my marriage was a priority for him.”
Lydia also asserted that Milton never owned up to any of the allegations “whatsoever.”
Lydia and Milton were the sole couple from Love Is Blind season 5 to get married, breaking up after nearly three years of marriage.
