An Ellsworth man is facing criminal charges in Hancock County after he allegedly was found in possession of three stolen Chevrolet Camaros.
Brandon Pinkham, 44, was indicted Thursday by a Hancock County grand jury on four counts of receiving stolen property and one count of forgery, all of which are felonies. In addition to the Camaros, Pinkham also is accused of possessing a stolen truck and counterfeit money.
The three Camaros and a Dodge Ram truck were all stolen separately within the past year in the Philadelphia area, including in northern Delaware, according to indictments filed in Hancock County Unified Criminal Court in Ellsworth. A 2018 Camaro, a 2022 Camaro and a 2021 Dodge Ram all were stolen in and around Philadelphia, while a 2023 Camaro was stolen in Newark, Delaware, according to the indictment.
The vehicles were stolen between June 2024 and February of this year, court documents indicate. All four were found in Ellsworth on March 26, along with more than $1,000 worth of allegedly counterfeit $20 bills.
More information about where specifically the vehicles were found in Ellsworth, or how Pinkham allegedly came to possess them, was not immediately available.
It was not clear Friday morning if Pinkham has a defense attorney in the matter.
