The alternative pop singer Halsey has canceled her Wednesday night concert at the Bangor waterfront.
In a social media post, Halsey said she was “devastated” to cancel the show.
“I woke up this morning and my voice was just.. gone. I saw my doctor and they said singing tonight could cause injury if I don’t let my vocal cords rest,” she wrote.
Maine Savings Amphitheater said Wednesday morning that all tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase. For those who bought tickets via Ticketmaster, the refund should be automatic.
“We wish Halsey a speedy recovery & we hope to see her in Maine soon,” Maine Savings Amphitheater said.
Halsey’s stop in Bangor was part of her “For My Last Trick” tour. Sir Chloe and Hope Tala were set to open for the 30-year-old artist.
