A 19-year-old Brunswick woman was killed in a single-car crash in Brunswick on Sunday morning.
The crash happened around 8:46 a.m. when police said Kaylah Rusaw was heading north on Old Bath Road and lost control of the 2016 Nissan Rogue she was driving. The vehicle she was driving crossed the roadway and struck a tree.
Both the front and side airbags deployed, according to Brunswick police.
Rusaw, who was not wearing a seat belt, was trapped in the vehicle. Once rescue workers freed her, they performed CPR for approximately 30 minutes, but she died at the scene, police said.
Speed appears to be a factor in the crash, police said.
