I am considering an independent run to be your governor. I am a seventh generation Mainer and I have nearly 30 years’ experience as a state employee. I also have a bachelor of science degree in economics and a master’s degree in public administration.
I think Maine state government is in shambles. With out-of-control problems of homelessness, crime, food insecurity, poverty, child abuse and neglect, lack of mental health care, and drug addiction just to name a few, I believe Maine’s government is failing us.
My government experience has taught me how Maine’s government works and doesn’t work. My education has taught me how government is supposed to work. If you agree that our government is rigged to benefit itself and the special interests, then I ask that you consider me for Maine’s next governor.
Maine does not need another politician in the Blaine House. Maine needs a leader who will tackle our many problems head on, regardless of politics. I have a plan for reforming Maine’s government to make it democratic, and to increase its efficiency and effectiveness. Maine’s system desperately needs a reboot after two centuries.
We will need to build a grassroots movement in order to run an effective campaign against the entrenched political party machines. If you are interested in learning more about me, my plans to reform Maine’s government and how you can help, please go to www.johnglowaforgovernor.com. Thank you.
