Walton Goggins and his wife, Nadia Conners, have been going strong since 2005 — despite their “awkward” first date.
During an October 2019 appearance on The View, Goggins shared that his friend unknowingly set him up on a blind date with Conners while he was supposed to be at a business dinner raising money. When he arrived at the dinner with other people, including Conners, she only wanted to hear about him.
“I didn’t talk to anyone there that I was supposed to talk to, and at the end of it, she said, ‘You’re going to take me home, right?’ And I said, ‘Uh, yes,’” Goggins explained, noting that they began dating shortly thereafter.
The couple went on to welcome son Augustus in January 2011 and then tied the knot that August.

Goggins and Conners, who is also a successful writer and director, have continued to support each other throughout the years, including when their movie The Uninvited premiered at SXSW in March 2024.
“20 years she’s been working towards this moment,” Goggins wrote in an Instagram caption alongside a photo of himself and his wife. “To be by her side… with this cast… in this story… has been so emotionally overwhelming…I love you @nadiasomerset. I’m so very proud of you.”

“….my wife and I were married almost 9 years ago with 5 people and our 6 month old in attendance in our backyard. We never had a party. With a newborn we were too tired,” Goggins shared in a lengthy Instagram post. “But this past Saturday we had a joint birthday party and the surprise was… we did it again! Only this time our son was almost 9 and we were surrounded by friends and family who had no idea what was about to go down. The joy in that room…all the time that has passed, the ups and downs, the hills and valleys only to find ourselves walking in this verdant pasture, with each other and all these people that we have in our lives was worth every step.”
