Travis Kelce’s music festival, Kelce Jam, has been abruptly canceled without explanation.
“Kelce Jam is planning ahead for 2026,” the festival announced via social media on Tuesday, May 13. “Although we’ll miss being with you this year, we’re taking this time to gear up for an even bigger, better, and more unforgettable experience next summer. Stay tuned for exciting updates and announcements.”
The festival added, “We can’t wait to celebrate again with you soon.”
Kelce Jam launched in 2023 with the festival taking place the past two years at the Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, Kansas, roughly 25 miles west of the Kansas City Chiefs’ home at Arrowhead Stadium.

According to the Kansas City Star, this year’s Kelce Jam was scheduled for May 17. However, no information about a line-up or other details had been announced.
Last year’s festival, which was hosted by Kelce, 35, included performances from Lil Wayne, Diplo and 2 Chainz.
The inaugural festival in 2023 featured performers Machine Gun Kelly, Rick Ross, Loud Luxury and Tech N9ne.
“This city has given me so much love, so much support throughout my career with the Chiefs,” Kelce told The Star last year. “It’s more than just a festival; it’s a way to give back, to celebrate together — the music, the food, the vibes.”
The Chiefs star added, “Kelce Jam is about creating an experience where everyone comes together as one big family. Kansas City is my second home, and Kelce Jam is my way of saying thank you and showing my love right back.”
The cancellation comes as Kelce prepares to return for a 13th season with the Chiefs this fall after Kansas City lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX in February.

“I think the biggest thing is that I f***ing love playing the game of football,” Kelce said of his decision to return on his “New Heights” podcast in March. “I love playing. I still feel like I can play it at a high level and possibly at a higher level than I did last year. I don’t think it was my best outing. I think I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them, especially if you look at my track record and how I’ve been in years past. I want to give it a good run. I got a bad taste in my mouth in how I ended last year and how well I was playing and how accountable I was to the people around me.”
Kelce added, “I love so many people in Kansas City, both in that facility, in the community, and it’s home for me now. I don’t want to leave that life yet.”
The Chiefs open the 2025 regular season against the Los Angeles Chargers on September 5 in São Paulo, Brazil.
Since the Super Bowl loss, Kelce has maintained a relatively low profile.
However, Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, were spotted out together in Philadelphia on Sunday, May 11, the day before he and his brother, Jason Kelce, hit the red carpet at the Amazon Upfronts in New York City.
