An East Millinocket woman was arrested Sunday with 20 active warrants.
Jade Simon, 36, was a passenger in a car that matched the description of a vehicle spotted on Interstate 95 allegedly traveling at speeds over 100 mph, according to the East Millinocket Police Department.
An officer stopped the vehicle after witnessing it allegedly exceeding the posted limit but less than the 100 mph reported earlier, East Millinocket police said Monday evening.
The officer discovered that Simon had 20 outstanding warrants for her arrest, including 17 for failing to appear in court and three for new criminal charges, according to police. The charges included burglary, drugs, criminal trespass, and bail and traffic violations.
She also had 10 active sets of bail conditions, according to police.
Simon was taken to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor.
