Tom Brady honored exes Bridget Moynahan and Gisele Bündchen on Mother’s Day with a joint tribute.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms I’m so lucky to have in my life,” Brady, 47, captioned an Instagram post on Sunday, May 12, which included photos of ex Moynahan, 54, with their 17-year-old son, Jack, and ex-wife Bündchen, 44, with their kids: son Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 12.
Brady posted a separate dedication to his mother, writing, “Happy Mother’s Day to the strongest and most inspiring woman I know. Your love is the foundation of our family! You’ve faced life’s toughest challenges with grace and determination, still always putting us first.”
He continued: “Thank you for being our rock and an example for your kids and grandkids. We’re endlessly grateful for everything you’ve done and everything you continue to be. We love you more than words can say.”

The professional quarterback dated Moynahan for more than two years before they called it quits in 2006. Brady moved on with Bündchen and two months later, Moynahan learned she was pregnant. Moynahan gave birth to Jack in 2007.
Moynahan broke her silence about the situation in 2008.
“I’m not sure anyone — and I could be wrong in this — grows up thinking, ‘I want to be a single mom,’” Moynahan explained to Harper’s Bazaar at the time. “When you’re suddenly pregnant and no one is standing by your side, even if you’re in your 30s, it’s a hard conversation. I’m a traditional girl, and I believe in marriage, and I just always thought that’s the way I’d be doing this. For a moment, it was hard for me to accept that this was the way I was going to have a family.”
Brady continued to coparent with Moynahan while expanding his family with Bündchen. The pair, who share son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, parted ways in 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
“We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve,” Brady wrote via Instagram in 2022.

Bündchen for her part, noted at the time that she was looking forward to coparenting with Brady, writing, “The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.”
Following their split, Bündchen moved on with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. Bündchen and Valente welcomed their first child together in February.
“I’ve been quiet over here but very busy living life … Sometimes, the most beautiful moments aren’t shared — they’re simply lived,” Bündchen wrote via Instagram on Sunday alongside a rare photo of her newborn son. “Lately, I’ve been embracing the slower rhythms, the real connections, the beauty in the lessons that come with being present.”
