All aboard! One of the trends at the 2025 Met Gala that got Us talking was the dramatic, very long, supersized trains.
Diana Ross, Serena Williams, Shakira and more stars took over the blue carpet with their billowing trains at the Monday, May 5, event, which was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
For the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” themed event, Ross, 81, looked as glamorous as ever in a silver crystal-embellished dress featuring a plunging neckline and fitted silhouette. The most notable part of her outfit, however, was her feather-embellished cape, which extended over the entire carpet and served as a loving family tribute.
Another over-the-top moment came when Shakira stepped onto the carpet in a bubblegum pink billowing dress. The singer teamed her look with a diamond necklace and mermaid waves.
