In April 2025, Bethenny Frankel announced her plans to move to the Sunshine State.
“I am moving to Florida for personal and professional reasons,” the Real Housewives of New York alum shared via Instagram video. “Something has arisen that made this the best and healthiest for myself and my daughter. We will maintain residences in the Hamptons and New York City because we love New York. This will be our primary and permanent residence.”
Meanwhile, Witney Carson and her husband, Carson McAllister, moved from Utah to Orlando, Florida, with their two sons, Leo and Jet, after finding the perfect home.

“My [father-in-law’s] name was Kevin Leo [McAllister] and ever since he passed away, every symbol of a lion we’d find reminded us of him,” she told Us Weekly in April 2024. “The first thing we saw on the doors of the house were two lion heads and then the realtor was like, ‘Yeah the owners love lions’ so you’re going to see a lot of them in here.’ We bought the house that week.”

“Florida is pretty much what America was like 50 years ago,” he said on Fox’s Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street. “It’s just people hanging out. Everything’s wide open, it’s free, the people that I meet are all just nice. And there seems to be no attitude down here. I mean, no place is perfect. But it’s just a different feel here.”

After retiring in 2023, the pro footballer moved to Florida.
“The quality of life in Florida is just really nice,” Brady told People in June 2024. “It’s all the outdoor activities that I love the most. Being on the water is great. I live on a golf course, and I love just being able to get out there, even if it’s for 20 minutes, just chipping a few balls.”

On an episode of The Family Stallone in February 2024, Stallone told his daughters — Scarlet, Sistine and Sophia — about his and Jennifer Flavin’s decision to relocate to Florida.
“We already have a place [in Florida]. It’s a done deal,” he explained. “We have a lot of roots in California, so it’s not an easy transition to Florida. But, Jennifer really had her heart set on it. I gave in.”

Following her decision to retire in September 2022, Williams, along with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and daughters, Olympia and Adira, moved into a 14,500 square foot home in Florida.

Over two decades ago, Woods made the decision to leave California for Florida in 1996.
“One of the reasons why I moved down to the South and got out of California is, it’s very easy to play there [in California],” he revealed in an episode of Golf Digest’s My Game: Tiger Woods — Shotmaking Secrets in October 2020. “Coming to Florida and learning how to putt on Bermuda [grass], learning how to chip on Bermuda, it took years. So, that’s just one of those things that I’ve learned through experience.”
John Cena
In a campaign with Neutrogena, Cena shared that he moved from New England to Florida in his early 20s where he “fell in love with the sun,” but “neglected his skin.”
“I was stubborn. I didn’t want to have a routine and I also thought the problem would never reach me,” he told People in March 2025. “And it’s one of those things where I had a ton of exposure with minimal protection and it caught up with me.”
Cena ended up seeing a dermatologist and “had a cancerous spot removed from [his] right pec.”
