Netflix first made its mark in Hollywood with the hit television series Lillyhammer in 2012, and the streamer hasn’t stopped making hit shows ever since. With over 300 million subscribers, Netflix has a lot of people to satisfy, and their most popular shows reflect the diversity of their massive audience.

This week, some of the streamer’s most-watched shows include a thriller that originated on Lifetime, a 30-year-old wrestling show and a cowboy romance. There’s always something to watch on Netflix, and these 10 shows are sure to captivate even the most television-savvy among us who have, well, seemingly watched everything.

Below is a list of the 10 most popular shows on Netflix in the United States from April 21-27, 2025.

Need more recommendations? Then check out Great New Shows to Watch Right Now, Best Shows on Netflix Right Now, Best Shows on HBO and Max Right Now and Best Shows on Peacock Right Now.

1. ‘Ransom Canyon’ Season 1

Saddle up, partners, because Netflix has a new Western series for you to binge this spring. Unlike Yellowstone and its spinoff, 1923, Ransom Canyon focuses more on affairs of the heart than gunfights in the wilderness.

Staten Kirkland (Josh Duhamel) is a lonely rancher fighting to hold on to his land and way of life. He gets help from Quinn O’Grady (Minka Kelly), a former flame eager to reignite their romance. Can Staten overcome his past trauma and find a way to love again?

2. ‘You’ Season 5

Who knew You would be such a hit? From its inauspicious debut on Lifetime in 2018, it’s grown into a streaming phenomenon on Netflix. Unfortunately, Joe Goldberg’s (Penn Badgley) international reign of terror just came to an end with You’s fifth and final season.

Now back in New York City, Joe and his new wife Kate (Charlotte Richie) have established themselves among the city’s elite. But a mysterious woman, Bronte (Madeline Brewer), enters Joe’s life and reawakens his old killer instincts. Will Joe live to slay another day? Or has he finally met his match?

3. ‘WWE Raw’

Monday nights have been typically reserved for football, but that’s changed recently with WWE Raw on Netflix. The wrestling show has proved to be massively popular on Netflix since its debut this past January, regularly topping the streamer’s most-watched shows charts when a new episode is streamed live.

Some past shows have included such stars as The Rock and current champion Cody Rhodes. Recently, John Cena played his final wrestling match in the show’s WrestleMania event.

4. ‘Ms. Rachel’ Season 1

It wouldn’t be a Netflix most popular list without a children’s program near the top. The current sensation for the kindergarten set is Ms. Rachel, a four-episode show that compiles the best of the eponymous YouTube series.

In a series of short instructional videos, Ms. Rachel teaches her young audience basic concepts such as shapes, colors, numbers and letters. Since its debut in January, Ms. Rachel has been one of Netflix’s most popular shows in 2025 and continues to entertain and educate its target audience.

5. ‘Black Mirror’ Season 7

For over a decade now, Black Mirror has been creeping viewers out with its tales of technology gone wrong and a future devoid of warm, human touch. Charlie Brooker’s acclaimed sci-fi anthology series is back for another season, featuring such stars as Issa Rae, Paul Giamatti, Emma Corrin, Will Poulter and more.

Some noteworthy season 7 episodes to watch include “Hotel Reverie,” about an actress who falls in love within an AI simulation of an old Hollywood movie, and “USS Callister: Into Infinity,” a sequel to 2017’s much-acclaimed Star Trek parody, “USS Callister.”

6. ‘Young Sheldon’ Season 7

The Big Bang Theory universe keeps on expanding with the popular spinoff Young Sheldon, which documents the early years of one of its main characters, Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage). The massively successful show introduces viewers to Sheldon’s extended family, including siblings George (Montana Jordan) and Missy (Raegan Revord) and grandma Meemaw (Annie Potts).

Young Sheldon’s seventh and final season is finally streaming on Netflix. The season wraps up the show’s many storylines, reveals how Sheldon’s father, George Sr. (Lance Barber), passes away and includes surprise cameos from past Big Bang Theory cast members.

7. ‘Love on the Spectrum’ Season 3

Reality shows are increasingly popular on Netflix, and one of the most-watched is Love on the Spectrum. The series follows several people on the autism spectrum as they go on dates and try to find love.

Season 3 just premiered in April and is already as big of a hit as the previous two seasons. Dani Bowman, James Jones and Abbey Romeo still appear in the current season alongside new cast members Madison Marilla and Pari Kim.

8. ‘Race for the Crown’ Season 1

With the Kentucky Derby just around the corner, viewers are tuning in to Race for the Crown for a glimpse at some of the behind-the-scenes action. The six-episode series follows assorted horse owners and jockeys as they compete in different horse races leading up to the Triple Crown.

A few of the show’s subjects include Michael Repole, a popular horse owner and founder of Vitaminwater, Michael Iavarone, a prominent horse racing executive, and Frankie Dettori, an Italian jockey now working in the United States.

9. ‘The Residence’ Season 1

In The Residence, Uzo Aduba plays Cordelia Cupp, a fastidious detective investigating a murder at the White House. She has to interrogate a handful of colorful suspects — including Jason Lee as the president’s brother and Ken Marino as a shady chief adviser — and figure out who did it and why before the killer claims their next victim.

Since its debut on March 20, The Residence has frequently been among Netflix’s most popular shows and continues to gain millions of viewers with each subsequent week.

10. ‘A Tragedy Foretold: Flight 3054’ Season 1

In July 2007, one of the worst aviation disasters occurred when a TAM Airlines plane crashed in Brazil. Nearly 200 people perished as a result of the tragic incident, with many believing the crash could’ve been prevented.

The event is documented in A Tragedy Foretold: Flight 3054, a three-episode docuseries that includes interviews from witnesses who saw the crash and some relatives of the victims. The series also dramatizes some of the events leading up to the crash and offers possible explanations for what caused it.
