This year’s most anticipated Star Wars project has arrived. Andor season 2 premiered earlier this month and reunited audiences with Diego Luna‘s title character, Cassian Andor.

Luna made his first appearance as Cassian in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, a prequel to the original Star Wars movie. Andor is the prequel to the prequel, but it’s become so much more than that.

Through its focus on Cassian and the other leading characters, Andor has given the Star Wars universe a grounded look at the rebellion that will rise up against the Empire.

Now that the first episodes of the season have arrived, it’s time to look ahead to Andor season 2, episodes 4-6.

Where Is ‘Andor’ Season 2 Streaming?

Will There Be an ‘Andor’ Season 3?

No. The series will conclude with the end of season 2.

Can You Watch ‘Andor’ Season 2 for Free?

Yes. Disney+ doesn’t offer free trials anymore, but Verizon unlimited subscribers can sign up for a free six-month Disney+ premium (no ads) subscription. There are some restrictions with that offer, and any accounts that have previously used a Verizon Disney+ promotion aren’t eligible to redeem this one.

What Happened in ‘Andor’ Season 2, Episodes 1-3?

One year after the events of Andor season 1’s finale, Cassian’s friends Bix (Adria Arjona), Brasso (Joplin Sibtain), Wilmon (Muhannad Bhaier) and the droid B2EMO (Dave Chapman) are hiding out on a remote farming planet, Mina-Rau. Meanwhile, Cassian successfully stole a prototype TIE Avenger from an Imperial base, only to be ambushed and briefly captured by a rebel cell that subsequently turned on each other. In the heart of the Empire, Dedra Meero (Denise Gough) was recruited for a new project by Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) while living with Syril Karn (Kyle Soller) as a couple.

During the ornate wedding of her young daughter, Leida (Bronte Carmichael), Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly) was approached by her lifelong friend, Tay Kolma (Ben Miles), who repeatedly indicated that he would betray her to the Empire unless he received a sizable sum. When Mon was unable to placate Tay, her ruthless associate, Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård), arranged for him to be assassinated by one of his operatives.

After Cassian escaped from the warring rebels, he disobeyed orders and returned to Mina-Rau. In his absence, Bix killed an Imperial officer who tried to rape her and Brasso was captured by stormtroopers. Cassian’s timely arrival with the TIE Avenger allowed him to get Bix and Wilmon off the planet, but Brasso was killed while escaping the stormtroopers.

Is There a Trailer for ‘Andor’ Season 2?

Yes. Although a significant portion of the footage includes scenes from the first three episodes, there are a few glimpses of the upcoming installments. There are a handful of scenes featuring Cassian and Luthen making big plans, as well as an impassioned speech by Mon Mothma on the floor of the Imperial Senate. But there’s more action and intrigue on the way as well.

How Many Episodes Are There in ‘Andor’ Season 2?

There are 12 episodes in Andor season 2.

Who’s Joining the Cast of  ‘Andor’ Season 2?

Ben Mendelsohn is reprising his role as Orson Krennic from Rogue One, and Alan Tudyk will once again voice the reprogrammed Imperial droid K-2SO later this season. Forest Whitaker is also returning as Saw Gerrera, the character he played in Rogue One and the first season of Andor.  Benjamin Bratt will appear in season 2, but his character hasn’t been revealed yet.
