I had to chuckle over President Donald Trump’s comment about the Federal Reserve chairman, Jerome Powell. First he called Powell a “major loser,” then demanded that Powell lower interest rates. Look who Trump is calling a loser.
The reason Trump wants interest rates lowered is to help with his tariffs’ impact on the stock market. Trump seems to be going out of his way to do irreparable damage to this country and now realizes it but can’t figure a way to correct the damage done.
More than sad.
