Ioan Gruffudd and his fiancée, Bianca Wallace, secretly got married — and plan to celebrate their wedding “later.”

,” Gruffudd, 51, and Wallace, 32, captioned a joint Instagram post on Friday, April 25. “Marriage now, wedding later 
.”
The couple tied the knot in an intimate outdoor ceremony at sunset, in which Wallace stunned in a silk, sheath halter gown with her hair pulled back in a sleek updo.
Gruffudd and Wallace have been together since 2021, getting engaged three years later in January 2024.

,” Wallace gushed via Instagram at the time, sharing a snap of her engagement ring. “[Ioan’s proposal] was a super adorable shock

Gruffudd confirmed his romance with Wallace on the heels of his divorce from ex-wife Alice Evans. The actor had filed for divorce in March 2021 after 15 years of marriage.
“As you can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult time for our family and we remain committed to our children,” the now-exes, who share daughters Ella and Elsie, told Us Weekly in a statement. “Thank you for respecting our privacy.”
Evans, now 56, subsequently claimed via since-deleted social media posts that Gruffudd had been unfaithful before he filed for divorce. Gruffudd, denying the claims, then obtained a three-year restraining order barring Evans from mentioning him on social media and sharing private correspondence from their daughters.
News broke in June 2023 that Ella filed her own temporary restraining order (TRO) against her father and Wallace for “domestic violence prevention.” Per the court documents, Ella alleged that Wallace allegedly “slammed a door” on her head after an argument when they first met. A judge denied the request for a TRO against Wallace but granted one against Gruffudd. Neither Gruffudd nor Wallace ever publicly addressed Ella’s accusations. Us confirmed the next month that Gruffudd and Evans finalized their divorce.

Amid the lengthy divorce battle, Gruffudd and Wallace’s romance continued to heat up. He also tirelessly supported Wallace when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
“Look, it’s not an easy illness. I’m more proud of the partners. I feel more sorry to the partners of people with MS because for us you have to face it, you genuinely don’t know what it’s going to be like,” Wallace told the Daily Mail at an MS fundraiser in May 2022. “But when you’ve got an amazing support system, everything’s different, everything changes. I feel very lucky to be with someone so supportive. It’s amazing, I haven’t had this before. To have someone who is understanding is incredible.”
