Some of Blake Lively’s famous friends may be dragged deeper into her legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman could be served soon with subpoenas as a part of Lively and Baldoni’s It Ends With Us lawsuit drama, per multiple outlets. According to People, a source alleged that anyone aware of the situation within Lively and Baldoni’s inner circles could be subpoenaed.
Another insider, meanwhile, alleged to the outlet that neither Swift, 35, nor Jackman, 56, are “privy” to the possibility of the subpoenas and claimed that docs are serving as distractions from Lively’s accusations against Baldoni. The Daily Mail previously reported a similar accounts on Tuesday, April 22.

Taylor Swift ‘Wasn’t Happy’ About Being Dragged Into ‘It Ends With Us’ Drama Case
Lively, 37, and Swift, 35, have been BFFs for many years, while Jackman, 56, is a close friend and collaborator of Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, with whom he starred alongside in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine and 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine.
In her December 2024 sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni, Lively claimed Baldoni and his team cited Swift as an example of the “weaponization of feminism” in their alleged plan to launch a smear campaign against her.
In a text featured in Baldoni’s $400 million lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds, 48, and Lively’s publicist, Leslie Sloane, he claimed the Grammy winner and Reynolds gave input on It Ends With Us’ important rooftop scene between his and Lively’s characters. “Was working on rooftop scene today, I really love what you did. It really does hep [sic] a lot. Makes it so much more fun and interesting. (And I would have felt that way without Ryan and Taylor),” his text reads in legal docs obtained by Us in January.
Baldoni also accused Reynolds of basing the Deadpool & Wolverine character “Nicepool” off of him. In a litigation hold letter obtained by Us in January, Baldoni requested that Disney CEO Bob Iger and Marvel Studio’s Kevin Feige “preserve all existing documents and data relevant to the Anticipated Claims” and all docs “relating to or reflecting a deliberate attempt to mock, harass, ridicule, intimate or bully Baldoni through the character of ‘Nicepool.’”

Both Lively and Baldoni and their teams have vehemently denied each other’s accusations, including Lively’s sexual harassment allegations against Baldoni and the director’s claims that Lively attempted to take over creative control of It Ends With Us, among many others on both sides. A trial date has been set for March 9, 2026.
While Jackman has not publicly addressed the legal drama, a source exclusively told Us in February that Swift “doesn’t have any involvement in the case. She wasn’t part of the movie,” adding, “Taylor was not a producer on the film and had no creative involvement.”
The insider continued, “While she and Blake are friends, this case is now a legal matter for the courts to resolve. Dragging Taylor into it is unnecessary and misrepresents what really happened.”
A separate source later told Us that Swift “wasn’t happy with being brought into the legal mess” and that there was “no truth” to rumors that the legal battle has “hurt their relationship.”
