
A skier died Sunday after an accident on a New Hampshire mountain.
Eric Page, 39, of Bartlett, New Hampshire, went off the Upper Maple Slalom trail at Black Mountain Ski Area, suffering “significant injuries,” according to the Jackson Police Department,
No one witnessed the accident, and a passing skier reported it to authorities.
When rescuers reached Page about 5:51 p.m., they found him unresponsive off the left side of the trail, near the snow line.
Despite efforts to save his life, Page succumbed to his injuries.
His death remains under investigation.
