If you ask Gia Giudice, The Real Housewives of New Jersey doesn’t exactly paint the full picture of mom Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas’ love story.
“My mom is very easy going. She’s so sweet, and I think any fan that meets her outside of seeing her on a TV screen feels the same way,” Gia, 24, exclusively told Us Weekly when celebrating her iHeartRadio “Casual Chaos” podcast. “She is a lover, and Louie and my mom are both Tauruses, so the same sign. They’re both lovers.”
Married since August 2022, Teresa, 52, and Luis, 49, have faced scrutiny about their marriage from both costars and viewers alike.
But if you ask Gia — who lives with her mother and stepfather after graduating from Rutgers University with a degree in criminal justice — everything is more than good at home.

“They’re both really good,” Gia shared with Us. “I know sometimes the fans don’t want to believe me when I say it. They say that I sound like a broken record. But I mean, I wouldn’t be lying. If things were this bad or if something was really wrong, I don’t think I would be living under this roof.”
“I think a lot more precautions would be taking place,” she continued while laughing. “We are OK, and our family is beautiful. Everything is really, really good under this roof.”
As The Real Housewives of New Jersey remains on pause, Gia assured fans that if cameras were rolling, they would capture Luis going “above and beyond” for his entire family.
It’s what she has witnessed ever since her mom received a second chance of love following her divorce from Joe Giudice in 2019.
“You could tell she was very loved and coddled and just a lot of affection, which she didn’t really get,” Gia explained. “My mom and dad’s marriage wasn’t really like that. It was just different. They obviously loved each other, but it wasn’t very intimate in front of others or lovey-dovey all the time, but that’s kind of how [she and Luis] are. It’s nice to see them both really in love.”

Away from home, Gia is gearing up to star in Bravo’s new series titled Next Gen NYC. She also continues to work hard on her “Casual Chaos” podcast.
In just a few short weeks, the Bravo star has had the opportunity to interview her longtime boyfriend Christian Carmichael, fellow Real Housewives kid Sami Sheen and Bachelor Nation’s Maria Georgas.
“I have to say this podcast has taken over my life, quite literally, but in the best way possible,” Gia told Us. “I’m super excited to keep this energy flowing. I have really good guests coming and a lot of fun things coming up so I’m super excited.”
