A Harpswell man has been indicted for a December crash that left another man dead in Brunswick.
A Cumberland County grand jury on Friday indicted Jeremy Saxton, 45, on charges of manslaughter, aggravated driving to endanger, aggravated criminal mischief and criminal speeding, according to the Brunswick Police Department.
Saxton was driving a 2019 Chevrolet pickup truck on Pleasant Hill Road about 10:55 a.m. on Dec. 11, 2024, when he collided with a 2013 Ford Edge driven by Donald Harding, 75, of Yarmouth.
Harding had pulled into Saxton’s path while coming off Baribeau Drive, according to police.
Harding died at the scene.
Saxton was arrested Saturday in Harpswell, and he was taken to the Cumberland County Jail in Portland, where he was released on $10,000 bail, Brunswick police said Monday morning.
