Is this the kind of president you want? One who lies about the size of his crowds, lies about the value of his property and then plays golf while our economy is falling apart. I believe Republicans who support him in the U.S. Senate, the House and in general are destroying our healthcare structure, our economy, our judicial system and our military preparedness.
Do we really want billionaires in charge of our retirement savings, our bank accounts, our Social Security, our Medicare, and our Medicaid? When my mother, who suffered from dementia could no longer live alone and then we could no longer manage her needs at our home, we sold her home and everything she had to support her going into nursing care. When we ran out of funds, fortunately there was Medicaid to help pay for her care in a nursing home. A billionaire might not need such support but most of us are far from being billionaires
I fear that with President Donald Trump at the helm, it won’t be long before we won’t have the security of Medicaid and maybe not Medicare or even Social Security. These are things that the billionaires in the Republican administration may want to privatize so they can earn profits from them for themselves.
Now is the time for the U.S. Congress to rise up and become the leaders we elected them to be.
