The driver was heading north in a 2018 Ford transit van near mile marker 174 about 7:58 a.m. when they lost control, left the road and rolled over onto the van’s roof before coming to rest against a tree, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The driver, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor with minor injuries, Moss said.
A passenger, who also wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was taken to EMMC with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Another passenger, who was wearing a seat belt, wasn’t injured, Moss said.
Speed and road conditions are considered factors in the crash, according to Moss.
