Kaley Cuoco considers herself a bag connoisseur — but not when she’s traveling with her kids.
“I love my Bottega Veneta, but I cannot put my daughter’s stuff in my Bottega!” the Priceline spokeswoman exclusively tells Us Weekly. “Those days are gone, you need something a little more durable on the plane.”
The Flight Attendant star opts for something a little less glamorous when traveling with daughter Matilda, 2, whom she shares with fiancé Tom Pelphrey. “Right now my go-to carry-on has been Matlida’s diaper bag, it’s from Target and it’s so roomy!” Cuoco shares. “It’s a giant floppy bag, that’s actually genius because there are, like, 17 compartments. It’s really the best thing you can carry while traveling.”
The Big Bang Theory alum also shared her mom travel hacks with Us. “Word to the moms out there, never get tricked into the front row. It’s a terrible idea because you can’t store any of your s***! You wanna be in the middle. Don’t get tricked into thinking you’ll get in and out quicker, absolutely not the right choice.”

“I know people out there do not agree with letting your kid watch TV or movies. I am all for it, I prepare her favorite movies on that iPad. Right now, we have The Little Mermaid playing in the house constantly, so I’ll put that on for her,” Cuoco spills to Us. “I also can’t live without my phone and ear buds — which I’m always losing — and I always have my Priceline app up-and-running when I travel.”
Cuoco has been into using her Audible app, opting for autobiographies. “In the past couple of weeks I just finished Ina Garten’s [Be Ready When The Luck Happens], which I was obsessed with. [I] listened to Riley Keough and Lisa Marie Presley’s [From Here to the Great Unknown], which was amazing I sobbed my eyes out and right now I’m in the middle of Josh Gad’s [In Gad We Trust], which is bringing me a lot of joy, and I’m obsessed with Conan [O’Brien]’s podcast. It just makes me laugh so hard.”
Makeup
“I’m a total lip gloss hoarder!” Cuoco admits. “I have about 47 different glosses in here. My favorite is the Clarins gloss, I’m obsessed with it. I have the Jamie Makeup Gloss called The Bloss. I also love the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour. I could serve the entire country with lip gloss.”

She adds, “I also love to travel with the Goop under eye pads. They’re a new favorite, and they really leave you looking refreshed when you land!”
Snacks
“I have a ton of snacks in my carry-on, especially when I’m traveling with Matilda. Any type of cracker she’s into and I always have a lollipop on hand and she loves organic bunnies from Annie’s. She calls those ‘hops,’ so she asks for ‘hops and pops.’” Cuoco says. “I also end up eating a lot of them too; they’re actually delicious.”
Comforts and Books
“I always carry a blanket.” Cuoco tells Us. “At home I have an electric one, but for travel, I have a small blanket that’s actually my daughters, it’s one of those super soft fuzzy ones. I also have those fuzzy socks from Amazon that I have in my bag because my feet are always freezing.”
“Matilda loves Bluey and Bluey books, so we’re actually having her read their potty training book because that’s our next thing. So I keep handing them to her, hoping she’s magically going to know how to read and teach herself to be potty trained,” Cuoco says with a laugh. “I’ll let you know how that works out!”
