All Things Go Music Festival Sets 2025 Dates, Expands to 3 Days

All Things Go is one of the hottest tickets of the season, and the 2025 music festival will be bigger than ever.

The festival announced on Wednesday, April 2, that the event will expand to three days and will be held from Friday, September 26, to Sunday, September 28. All Things Go will be returning to Columbia, Maryland’s Merriweather Post Pavilion (a Washington, D.C. suburb) and New York City’s Forest Hills Stadium. Both venues are historically significant, with the former previously hosting acts such as Led Zeppelin, and the latter hosting the likes of The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix.

Headliners for 2025 have yet to be announced. Last year, All Things Go DC and All Things Go NYC had almost identical lineups on opposite days with much of Saturday’s Big Apple lineup playing in Maryland on Sunday and vice versa.

The Washington, D.C.-born festival expanded to New York in 2024 and featured headliners such as Janelle Monáe, Reneé Rapp, Hozier, Laufey, Ethel Cain and Julien Baker.

Chappell Roan was also set to headline, but she dropped out of the festival one day before her scheduled performance. The “Hot To Go” singer cited being overwhelmed and wanting to prioritize her mental health as her reason for pulling out of the event. Muna was brought in to take Roan’s place in DC while NYC (where Muna was already on the lineup) enjoyed a set with local drag artists.

All Things Go was initially founded as a blog in 2011 by Adrian Maseda, Zack Friendly, Stephen Vallimarescu and Will Suter. The festival was first held in 2014 and has been a hot spot for the pop, rock and indie artists, as well as up-and-coming acts. Fans have nicknamed the event “All Things Gay” and “Lesbopalooza” for its open support and inclusion of LGBTQ+ artists and overall involvement in social activism.

The festival takes pride in the relationship built with fans over the years, and in 2018, it debuted ATG’s first-ever all-female lineup featuring headliners Billie Eilish and Maggie Rogers; tickets sold out within half an hour. In 2023, the founders hosted the Creator Summit in Washington, D.C., a series of discussions regarding equity and social action in the music industry.

The festival has previously welcomed artists such as Melanie Martinez, Charli XCX, boygenius and Bleachers. They’ve built a cult-following — fans are known as “The Besties” — who have helped to consistently sell out the multi-day festival over the years.

“A lot of our curation is basically us listening to what our community wants and trying to act on that the best we can,” cofounder Vallimarescu shared with Forbes in 2023.

Cofounder Suter added, “We’ve found that the more that we listen to the people who are coming, the more impactful and the better that the festival does.”

All Things Go 2025 lineup and ticket information will be available on the festival’s official website when announced.
