Brooke Hogan has more to say in her ongoing drama with her mother, Linda Hogan.
“First of all, it appears my mother may not have actually read what I wrote,” Brooke, 36, wrote via her Instagram on Friday, March 29, referring to a lengthy statement she released days earlier about her family estrangement. “She absolutely did make false claims like she had ‘never met my husband [Stephen Oleksy]’ and she ‘doesn’t even know what his name is,’ then deleted it.”
Brooke went on to claim that despite her mother saying that “she hasn’t spoken to me for a number of years,” she has “a picture with her and my husband together on a day we did lunch together.”
Linda, 65, recently claimed via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, March 26, that her family was “a mess” ever since Brooke allegedly stopped speaking to her nearly eight years ago. (Linda shares daughter Brooke and son Nick, 34, with ex-husband Hulk Hogan.)

Later on Wednesday, Brooke noted that she was estranged from both of her parents for different reasons.
“No contact with my mom has nothing to do with my dad, and no contact with my father has nothing to do with my mother,” Brooke said in her Wednesday statement. “This decision was made based purely on how they have each dealt with me my entire life. … I’ve repeatedly held my hand out to help them, only to have them pull me into the darkness with them. I’ve set boundaries that were not respected, and at this point, I can truly do no more.”
On Friday, Brooke further refuted her mom’s claims and uploaded a photo of the mother-daughter pair with Oleksy, 39, that was taken in June 2023. (Brooke married the hockey player in 2022 and they welcomed twins Oliver and Molly in January 2025.)
“I did not ask for this, nor did I even want to make a statement, but I also couldn’t let people continue to speak for me,” Brooke noted on Friday. “My name is continuously brought up in the constant drama of my family.”
Hulk Hogan Tells People He Doesn’t Know Why Brooke Isn’t Speaking to Him
According to Brooke, her initial post “did not directly accuse” any family member of wrongdoing.
“If she’s triggered by something, I think that speaks volumes,” Brooke claimed of her mother. “She is, however, making a serious accusation against me directly that has zero validity and THAT I take seriously. I have plenty of people who know the truth, and i know the truth, so I am not afraid.”
Brooke, meanwhile, has not further addressed her estrangement from her 71-year-old dad Hulk (real name Terry Gene Bollea).
“Terry not speaking to Brooke is [a] much more recent thing,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly, noting that the former wrestler “tells people he doesn’t specifically know why Brooke won’t speak to him.”
