Two more people have been arrested in connection with vandalism at a golf course owned by US President Donald Trump.
Police were called to the Trump Turnberry course in South Ayrshire at around 4.40am on Saturday 8 March.
Officers found red spray paint had been used to deface the 800-acre resort’s clubhouse, while the words “Gaza Is Not For Sale” were painted in three-metre-high letters on its lawn.
On Thursday, Police Scotland said a 75-year-old man and 66-year-old woman had been arrested the previous day following enquiries in Oban, Argyll and Bute.
Both have since been released pending further enquiries.
A force spokesperson said: “The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.”
Earlier this month, a 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.

It is thought the property may have been targeted in response to Mr Trump’s comments last month in which he suggested the US could take over the Gaza Strip and “own it”, with Palestinians in the territory resettled elsewhere.

The US president also shared an AI-generated video on social media which appeared to promote his proposals and included a depiction of himself and Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu shirtless and drinking at a resort called “Trump Gaza”.
Following the incident in South Ayrshire, a Trump Turnberry spokesperson said: “This was a childish, criminal act but the incredible team at Trump Turnberry will ensure it does not impact business.”
