Eric Graise has been missing from five Tracker episodes in a row so far, but his return could be coming soon.
As viewers questioned Graise’s absence, his costar Fiona Rene hinted that he will come back before season 2 wraps up. Rene was asked by TV Insider earlier this month about any upcoming guest stars she was excited for fans to see.
“I mean, can we just talk about Randy for a second? I love Chris Lee with everything in my body,” she shared at the time. “He’s been such a wonderful addition to the Bobby dynamic, and I am very excited to see them together.”
Lee’s character, Randy, was introduced on Tracker in February as Bobby’s (Graise) cousin. During the episode, Randy said Bobby was temporarily not around due to “family” issues, but the character hasn’t been mentioned on screen again since. Graise’s prolonged absence ultimately became cause for concern as Robin Weigert exited the show ahead of season 2.

Weigert’s character, Teddi, was written off in the premiere by having her wife, Velma (Abby McEnany), mention that they needed some distance. Velma has since been working with Reenie (Rene) and Teddi hasn’t been discussed despite her prominent presence in the show’s first season.
“[Teddi] is going to be there for a while. She is helping her mom get sorted. I was getting in the way you might say and it really wasn’t good,” Velma said at the beginning of season 2. “So I came back. Don’t you worry because I am keeping busy.”
Tracker follows survivalist Colter as he travels the country to help find missing people, track down information on criminal cases and more. After becoming a hit for CBS, Tracker continued its success with the season 2 premiere in October 2024 bringing in 8.3 million total viewers, nearly a 10 percent increase in viewership from the season 1 finale. The season 2 premiere also marked the show’s highest audience since the series debuted after the Super Bowl in February 2024.
Tracker was named the most-watched broadcast premiere since NCIS’ final episode with Mark Harmon in September 2021. Its average viewership is 18.2 million per episode, according to their Paramount+ and broadcast measurements. Variety‘s annual list of the year’s 100 most-watched primetime telecasts had Tracker episodes in 15 spots.
Despite the record-breaking accomplishments, Tracker has also been plagued with numerous schedule changes and delays. Hartley, 48, previously explained why he is so intrigued by his character as both an actor and an executive producer on the project.

“He’s definitely a unique character. I mean, a guy who learns all of these skills are kind of rare. People don’t necessarily know how to do all of this stuff,” he told CBS in February 2024. “Most people don’t. Given his childhood, his very rough upbringing … he learns all of these skills and just the idea that he would grow up and as an adult use all of those skills to help other people, I think is very easy to root for.”
Hartley noted that he doesn’t view Colter as an “antihero” even though he does “bend” the rules to get results, adding, “He might work outside the law, but just as a means to get justice or to help someone in need. He’s not an intentional rule breaker. He does it all. He’s a businessman.”
