A woman has died days after a Lewiston crash that killed her young daughter and the baby’s father.
Tyrell Willigar, 20, of Brunswick was driving a 2016 Toyota Corolla on Grove Street about 10:45 p.m. last Wednesday when he went off the road and hit a tree, according to the Lewiston Police Department.
Willigar died at the scene, police said.
His passengers, 20-year-old Adaysia Read and 7-month-old Kinsley Willigar, were critically injured. They were taken to Central Maine Medical Center before being transferred to Maine Medical Center in Portland, according to police.
Kinsley Willigar died Thursday morning. Read died over the weekend, police said Monday.
The crash remains under investigation, but police said that speed was likely a factor.
