Oxford Hills High School’s basketball standout Ella Pelletier has been honored as Maine’s Gatorade Player of the Year. The senior forward played a pivotal role in leading the Vikings to a remarkable 17-3 record and securing a spot in the Class AA North Regional Finals.
Pelletier’s impressive performance this past season included averaging 24 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals per game.
Her outstanding contributions on the court also earned her a place as a finalist for the Miss Maine Basketball award, alongside Caribou High School’s Madelynn Deprey and Brunswick’s Lexi Morin.
Pelletier also had a recent standout performance at the McDonald’s Senior All-Star Weekend on March 8, earning a shout out from the announcer for an impressive block.
