BANGOR — The Northern Maine HIV Program of the Regional Medical Center at Lubec proudly marks 23 years of dedicated service to individuals living with HIV across Northern Maine. Over the years, we have been privileged to collaborate with many dedicated organizations, including Northern Light Infectious Disease Care, Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital, Community Health and Counseling Services, Health Equity Alliance, Down East AIDS Network and Eastern Maine AIDS Network. These partnerships have played a crucial role in ensuring comprehensive care and support across a vast geographic region.
As we continue to evolve to meet the needs of those we serve, we would like to announce an important transition: effective immediately, RMCL will assume full administration and oversight of all Ryan White Part C HIV medical case management services for residents of the Northern Maine Region, including Washington, Aroostook, Hancock, Penobscot and Piscataquis counties. This change reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing accessibility, ensuring seamless care coordination, and improving health outcomes for people living with HIV throughout the region.

For over 20 years, the Northern Maine HIV Program at the Regional Medical Center at Lubec has provided comprehensive, client-focused HIV care across five counties. Through a decentralized network of providers, the Ryan White Part C team delivers coordinated medical care, treatment, and essential support services to low-income individuals living with HIV. These services remain accessible at multiple locations to ensure continuity of care.
