A crash involving three vehicles brought traffic in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Bangor to a standstill on Tuesday afternoon but was quickly cleared.
The crash happened at mile marker 185, which is at Broadway.
Maine State Police posted a notice of the crash on Facebook shortly before 4 p.m. but did not immediately provide additional details.
At about 4:40 p.m., police said the scene had been cleared and traffic was flowing again.
No one was injured in the crash, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said.
The bridge at Broadway has recently been reduced to a single lane several times for construction but the Maine Department of Transportation had not indicated that work would be done at the location on Tuesday.
