Bangor police will be closing a stretch of Union Street on Tuesday evening for a crash investigation.
Union Street will be closed between First and Sanford streets between 7 and 8 p.m. so officers can continue an investigation into a crash that happened on that stretch of road, according to Sgt. Jason McAmbley, a spokesperson for the Bangor Police Department.
During that time, drivers won’t be able to access Union Street from Second, High and Columbia streets, McAmbley said Tuesday morning.
Drivers will be detoured from Union Street onto First Street, Union Street onto Sanford Street, and High Street onto Middle Street.
